FACILITIES

We operate 3 state of the art processing plants, Kinsale Road, Cork (25,000 sq. ft), Bantry (75,000 sq. ft) and our Ready to Eat factory – Bantry (30,000 sq. ft). Our production capacity and flexible nature mean that we can adapt easily to our customer requirements and consistently deliver top quality products and service.

Certifications

Each company in the supply chain handling or selling an ASC certified product must have a valid ASC Chain of Custody certificate. This certificate assures consumers and seafood buyers that ASC labelled products come from a certified responsible farm.

The Global Standard for Food Safety is developed by food industry experts from retailers, manufacturers and food service organisations to ensure it is rigorous and detailed, yet easy to understand.It provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.

By choosing seafood with the blue MSC label you are supporting independently certified sustainable fisheries. Excellent management practices help ensure fish stocks and habitats are healthy and fishing community livelihoods are secure. MSC certification requires fisheries to be independently assessed by scientists and marine experts to ensure they meet high standards for environmentally sustainable fishing.

Origin Green is the worlds’ only national food and drink sustainability programme, enabling the industry to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets that respect the environment and serve local communities more effectively.

This certificate affirms that the above stated facility is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration pursuant to the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Bioterrorism Act of 2002 and the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act.

The Irish Organic Association (IOA) is Ireland’s leading organic certification body dedicated to certifying organic produce and products throughout Ireland. The IOA has been at the forefront of the organic movement in Ireland since it was established in 1982.
